NPD adjusts their numbers as well. The difference is that only paying customers get it.

Me i'd lean towards believing NPD, though they were off the last couple times. Considering adjusting against NPD has hurt the numbers before. It seems to me that Vgchartz has a much more representative formula.

However, the low data still allows for cofounding variables to get in the way of some sales.

So whenever the numbers are close... i'd expect VGchartz to be right. Or at the very least shouldn't adjust.

When the numbers are way off though.... I'd adjust, but keep the old numbers somewhere else incase it needs to be changed back.  After hearing back from the parties involved in any case. 

i think it's pretty clear that npd numbers may have errors in it (i think so with ds). but i also think numbers need to be adjusted on this site.

However, at the end of the day, if you said to ioi im taking NPD's data over yours because i think its more accurate, do you honestly think he'd be surprised? Of course NPD is considered more accurate, its why its in the position it is.   And what does it matter if I take VGC over NPD? DM needs to calm down because i'm not going after his precious PS3, and if little things like me calling him dude aggravates him then he really needs to chill. Its hardly pointless if I trust VGC over NPD, its my decision, I don't see why DM should care enough to turn it into an argument

 In the same vein, its DM's decision if he chooses to question your decision to trust VGC. However, being immature isnt going to help the argument end anytime soon is it?

I think that this post is true after reading some of his/her comments,,,so DMeisterJ don't argue with a person that is as biased as  he/she is,,,avinash _tiyagi Wii and Ds have dominated the world with the sales of 100000000000000000000 units in one week even though they both were suffering from shortage problems and lets not forget NPD was wrong in December,,,,,Now I think you can rest(I do like ninty ,not as much as you do though)
