I wonder what will happen if PS3 ever manages to outsell 360 2:1 in USA, do we get a 10000+ entry thread ... ? For January 08, the only thing PS3 has managed is selling almost on par with 360 for a month according to NPD (within the margin of error). Is that anything to get excited about and discredit VGC ? According to NPD, there is actually no winner in January but a close tie across all parties .....

Now get over the fact that your beloved Wii was almost touch, and your DS lost to the PS3, only three times as expensive as it, and move along. Npd is 'more right' and vgc is 'less right', and the only reason you trust vgc more is because they keep your bias alive, if the PS3 is almost selling as much as the Wii then you can't hate on PS3 sales.

Somehow, the rest of the industry doesn't have a problem with npd numbres, only you. I guess we see what the real problem is. (If you don't know, it's you).

 Your argument is pointless because you seem to think VGC is more accurate than NPD data. YES, NPD could be wrong like they were in December, and in the case of the DS it may be likely, but its more likely BOTH VGC and NPD are wrong, one undertracks, one overtracks because its highly unlikely either side would get it wrong on such a massive scale.

 However, at the end of the day, if you said to ioi im taking NPD's data over yours because i think its more accurate, do you honestly think he'd be surprised? Of course NPD is considered more accurate, its why its in the position it is.

You are the stressed one, cuz the PS3 is close to your beloved Wii, and you can't handle it. It's really sad, instead of congratulating, you come in congratu-hating. I have no problem with the Wii's success. They ahve done great, and they're the market leader, but you can't say the same about the PS3. You can't come and congratulate them when something goes their way... But why would I expect you to? You ARE extremly biased...

And what does it matter if I take VGC over NPD? DM needs to calm down because i'm not going after his precious PS3, and if little things like me calling him dude aggravates him then he really needs to chill.  Its hardly pointless if I trust VGC over NPD, its my decision, I don't see why DM should care enough to turn it into an argument
