On topic, it seems Xbox One is undertracked in vgchartz at least 300k, It should be around 1'8 mill at the end of the 2nd week.

Me and Pachter will be wrong with USA sales, it seems Xbox One must have sold the same units as PS4 in USA, around 1'2-1'3 million at the end of November, and around 400-500k in BF.

Sony seems to have dropped the ball in USA with the lack of stock there (It seems it's Sony the one with production problems). Maybe they're reserving for christmas in USA, or maybe they want to support Europe more.

It looks like USA will be neck and neck between PS4 and Xbox One, and Europe will be the differentiator. I think Sony is tryng to equal the US numbers with European ones. And Microsoft seems to focusing the stock availabe in USA to be ahead of PS4 at the end of the year.

If it was 1.8m at the end of the 2nd weeks then it have just 200k units to be sold in the next 9 days... these 9 days have the third big shipment for both consoles that happened last week... so 200k for these 9 days is out of question... it is way more.

You're grossly over predicting Sunday and Monday sales. Fact of the matter is it didn't sell more the week ending 7th than it did Black Friday week. Give it up Ethomaz you clearly have no clue when it comes to discussing XB1 sales.

Which numbers do you want me to provide? All we have so far is, 2,1 million PS4's sold during the first 10 days and 2 million Xbox One's sold in 18 days. Nothing more! You can see the PS4 is sold out everywhere.

You know people can't buy an item that's sold out, right? And again i will join you in saying Microsoft did a great job.

Eh, this is wrong. 2.1 Million PS4's sold in 16-17 days... Not 10. All this is showing is that over the same time-frame theyre shifting the same number of consoles as Sony. Its more or less a tie right now, though the One is way more expensive...

Somini said:

So the PS3 is a flop? You know it outsold the 360, right? What would you call that one!?

Xbox One's journey to 80 million will be quite the

-snip-

He never called the PS3 a flop and...

I don't expect it any one it to be heard by you anyways, as you're unable of fothoming anything doesn't suit your preference!

You need to learn how to have a decent discussion. But go on, declare this as the best a console has done, as i'm sure that's what you belive.

What on gods green is this bullshit? Stop trying to bait him with petty little digs.

What was your agenda in making this comment? You thought i'm going to discredit everything somini said, right? lol

Look up the date of the tweet about PS4's sales and compare that to the PS4's release date and you'll see it wasn't 17 days.

Puggsly replied to me and we both know that's what he was talking about, i'm sorry you're having a hard time understanding the joke.

Why would i be baiting Kowen into anything and what use would it have? The dude does and says everything and gets away with it, as he's rarely banned/warned for it. So don't get all emotional, we're just having a discussion here.

This numbers are considering some units sold this week (the 3rd one), the 200k number is for 4 days, not 9..., Vgchartz shows 1'5 after 2 weeks, if Xbox One sold 2 million in 2'5 weeks, i'm assuming the half of the 3rd week is around 200-300k, leaving 1'7-1'8 million for the first 2 weeks. Xbox one could end the 3rd week with 2'2 million units...

Edit: I'm considering we are at the 3rd week at the moment (1st 22 nov-28 nov, 2nd 29 nov-5 dec, 3rd 6 dec-13 dec), and it didn't finished yet

Why? The numbers are in line with that data we have. Give me the change to guess the splited data.

US Week 1: 600k
US Week 2: 300k
US Week 3: 300k
US + 2 days: 30k?

Others Week 1: 400k
Others Week 2: 200k
Others Week 3: 150k
Others + 2 days: 20k

Something close to that.

It's a matter of supply, not demand

Can you explaing please...

The number from MS are for 18 days... VGC shows 1.5m for 9 days... there are more 9 days of sales (the week from Dec 1 to Dec 7 + 2 days).

LOL

UK is by far and large a big proportion of Europe sales, it did 150k first week, 20k following week. How you expect 200k for week 2 is a joke, and 150k week the following is even more laughable. Canada/Mexico/Brazil don't add anything meaningful either, they're probably 100k combined for the total amount.

If Sony and Microsoft keep updating their sales figures regularly VGChartz could be in danger of being remotely accurate. Both consoles selling well which is nice to see. Let's hope Wii U picks up with the prospect of more first party games.
