Awesome, congrats to the Xbox team.
Kudos to MS. They have come along way from their initial and disastrous announcements and managed to recover flawlessly. Well done.
VGchartz seems to be on track.
My only complain is for Games sold. VGchartz seems to not have digital sales (look at PC games).

It's going to be a short gen, no doubt about that. These consoles are WAY too weak to last very long.
Selling 2 Million + in 18 days or 14 days is great for both systems. This early on in the mix, that 1 week release lead here in the states is causing many to lose their minds. 5-6 weeks from now, the totals will start to make more sense and that 1 week will have a lot less impact on the total number.
It is near the end of the end....

Yes 1 week ahead in US but 1 week behind in europe , it evens out or if you want to look at it another way it took xboxone 18 days to sell 2 mil and ps4 sold 1.9mil in 48 hrs of their respective NA and EU launches there or thereabouts,in terms of launch dates neither really had an advantage over the other yet ps4 is 600k ahead according to vgchartz,
So using vgchart numbers which seem to be close enough and this new info, we know:
| Days | Sold |
| 2 | 1,118,065 |
| 9 | 1,523976 |
| 18 | 2,000,000 |
That means it's third week was comparable to BF, or maybe a bit less than 405,911. Keeping this up means it should just reach 3 million by the end of the year. That's really great and would put it 700k ahead of the Wii U's first year, or 30%.

its such a shame that the respective launches were 2 weeks apart

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
