It sounds a bit cheesy, but hey it's Nintendo, it could work. Sharing your Nintendo Club profile or pimping it for MiiVerse would be nice, the MiiVerse profile doesn't show your games collection, wishlists...

Not sure I understand your demo app, don't think it's even possible, though you can dream about it :P
I think the least Nintendo gets distracted, the better. No companion app, no Nintendo infinite runner, no ad app.
Just release software on your damn consoles.
