It seems like a lot of people are raging on the VGA's right now. Personally, I'm not mad at Nintendo as much as I am the VGX people for exagerating what Reggie said to build hype so VGX received more ratings.

but I want to know how mad/happy people are about the show in general and not just the Nintendo segment!

Pretty sure everything is mad about the entire show as opposed to just Nintendo's announcement.

I know. I was just stating my personal thoughts on that particular aspect of the show.

The VGAs have always sucked.  List the most overhyped games out of the year and those ones will be nominated to get an award.  I've said it before, but I'm surprised Metro Last Light was included as a nominee.  Anyways, they have their one good announcement a year, and this year apparently they didn't even have that. Or maybe they did if you're interested in Tim Schafer's newest game. Or is it games?

The VGA's are a disgrace to the gaming industry and community. That is all they ever have been and will be, unless Spike cleans up their act. Which has next to no chance of happening.

horrible show, IDK why they changed the layout to those 2 stupid nerds talking... it was much better when it was an actually AWARD show!
It was so terrible that the most "important" categories like RPG, Fighting, etc were not shown but that trashy band got 30 minutes..
Also there was no interesting/huge new info there...

From all the game events together, VGX got the award as the worst game event of the year!

To think last year we had an amazing VGA, wtf is going on, the 10th should be the best, not that economic junk

Joel Banderas put a smile on my face and made me forget about this horrible show. GAF crashed priceless.

I thought Joel was funny at times. I had my laughs.

The concert was pretty terrible. Problem was making the show 3 hours, should've kept it 1.

Didn't Nintendo say that they were going to show a world premier of a PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED game?
