Forget it man people here don't make the difference between a game and an app... if it's on a videogame console it's a game and if it doesn't appeal to them they just troll and bash...
On topic: I'm also interrested in that app. Could you say how much integrated Kinect is and how it helps, thanks.

Ya, but running on a treadmill is straight cardio. The excercises with this has much more variety, using different muscles. Now doing both is the best option with one followed after the other.
My sister tried it and she loved it. She was talking about buying an XBO for it as well as my other sister. Then she went to facebook to talk about her experience lol

You paid 560$ plus tax :D
I do think xbox fitness is a cool app though definitely helps offset the cost of the console imo.

The cost of Xbox One console w/ Kinect - $500
The cost of Xbox Live - $50
The cost of basic internet monthly - $30
The cost of the average gamers HDTV - $500
The total cost to enjoy "next gen" fitness - $1080
My face when I got to a military gym for free and get twice the workout - Priceless

The video play on the main screen and a side bar has your silhouete as Kinect sees it, with the muscle areas that are heating up in red, as you exercise, so, if you do abs in a wrong way, you can tell just because of this feature. You gain points by every rep you do right and there are challenges and objectives for every single exercise. There are also precise timing and achievements, and the app counts every callorie you burn each day, on every video. There are dozens of most famous videos on the app, and a lot is free with Gold. IT IS AWESOME!
Hey, you know, I wonder if my insurance would partially cover an xbox 1 purchase. I have a 200$ stipend to gym equipment and media.

I bought a Xbox One for Dead Rising 3 and to get a taste of next gen while the brazilian PS4 price do not drop, you know me, I am a just a humble gamer, I had a HDTV for years, I did not bought it for Xbox Fitness. And I also go to a Gym, but I always believe in doing exercises at home to get a full workout, because not everyday I have the energy to go to a gym. Now, to get home and do these videos workouts, sometimes 3 in a row, it is just cool.
And I am not a fanboy or anything, I am just surprised and happy that this even exists, that is all. Just see my signature...

I know you're not a fanboy, I'll vouch for you. Perhaps you don't know though, but just fyi, fitness is only free this first year.
