Forums - Gaming - Tomb Raider Definitive Edition Announced for PS4/XBO

I may get this depending on what they add.

I really liked Tomb Raider. I was a major doubter, even after 1-2hrs of playing, but eventually the gameplay and combat, and exploration sold me. Really fun to play. The dialogue and voice acting--including Lara--were pretty crappy IMO, but overall the game is one of my favorites this year.

Sidenote: if uncharted (for its dialogue, characters, acting, story, cinematography, graphics/art design, and overall epicness) and tomb raider (for its deep combat system, extras, and fun gameplay) met and had a baby, that game would be astounding.

Other than visuals, what does it contain and will it come to Steam D:!?

The Definitive Edition features all of the game's downloadable content, a digital artbook, six outfits for Lara and a digital comic. The game is listed for $59.99 for Xbox One and PS4

Ehh..

Pretty much my thoughts.

Reminds me I need to get Tomb Raider (on PS3). I love this genre of game and I need to support good quality titles.

Didn't think this game was very good to be honest. Too many forced action sequences.

If the price is right and there is enough added content, I'll double dip

I wonder if we're going to see a stream of late last-gen titles ported to the new consoles with updated graphics / DLC. Even with the pricing, considering TR comes amidst a drought, it should encourage other developers.

At least SE and Bioware I can see blatantly doing it.

Has noone else though of that GTAV announcement being an 8th Gen/PC port?

Looks like barely anything really changed :D only some buzz words in the trailer

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Wont be getting this, I didn't enjoy it very much.
