Sony ... I love their IPs, their willingness to experiment and the diversity of their games. I like their hardware too and they've never failed me since the Walkman. I've been with them since 95 and they have never given me a reason to use another platform as my primary gaming machine.

Nintendo ... I grew up on Nintendo's stuff and I enjoy their IPs. If it's published by Nintendo chances are I'll buy it.

Microsoft ... *crickets chirping*

a man after my own heart.  Couldn't have said it better myself.  Willingness to experiment with games like Beyond, Heavy Rain, Puppeteer, Rain, Flower, Journey, etc. make me love Sony for that risk taking.  Also the fact that they love to bring new IP.  Uncharted, LoU, Resistance, Infamous, Heavy Rain, Beyond, Puppeteer, Flower, Journey, Rain, and many more were ALL new IP this gen and they've already shown The Order, Knack, Resogun, and Driveclub as new IP for next gen.  It's crazy how much new they create.

Nintendo I love for their refinement.  They don't do anything crazy with Mario or Zelda, but they don't need to.  The CORE gameplay is SO solid and they don't bog themselves down with the story so they can tweak the gameplay to fit a new theme like Galaxy for a new machine.  In the end you're always jumping on stuff or solving the dungeons but the new comes from new dungeons and new things to jump on and ways to jump on them.  People can say it's the same but NEVER have I played a 3D Mario or Zelda and thought "been there done that."  Of course part of that is due to only having 1 per platform normally.  This keeps their franchises from becoming exhausted which is why Sony can't maintain a franchise a lot of times (Ratchet FFA and A4O shouldn't have been released for instance to give the series a chance to breath while they focused on a HUGE PS4 launch title with all that time).

Out of the options I'd have to pick nintendo cos I like their 1st party games (even though they're testing my patience lately)...
I tend to use my sony consoles the most, however I don't like their exclusives much, aside from one or two, and play more 3rd party games. Last gen I ended up owning all 3 and it may well end up that way this gen. Guess at the end of the day I'd have to say I like any game as long as I perceive it to be good and don't really pick sides. As long as console gaming continues to thrive I'm happy.

This is just my opinion. Not trying to offend anyone :)

My favorite is Sony. It has the best games. And i grew up with the PS1 and PS2. I own a PS3 and soon a PS4.

I hate Microsoft. I wouldn't play on any Xbox, even if i got one for free. Not trolling, just my honest opinion.

Nintendo? Well, i don't like Nintendo, i never did. I've owned a NES in my childhood before the PS1, but never liked it. Honestly not a single game made by Nintendo interest me, not a single one.

Sony, cause of their dedication to experimenting and willingness to support devs that go outside of mainstream.

Other than that...yeah, computers rule, due to sheer amount of genres not available on other platforms.

The one that makes fantastic AAA games like The Last of Us and also helps create smaller games like Journey and invests in titles like Tearaway, Puppeteer and Beyond.

Sony wins by a landslide. It really is them making games in all kinds of genres and making new IPs.

Nintendo. Because I love their systems and their games, much more so than the other two. Sony is a distant second, with Microsoft sitting in last.

Nintendo because they make some of the best games in the industry.

And Sony in a distant second place because I own most of their consoles. I think their first party kinda sucks though.

Never owned a Microsoft console so I can't give an opinion on them but Halo seems interesting.

Nintendo not only because they bring the games i enjoy.

But could you imagine how the videogameindustry is without Nintendo??

I dont know i think sega had the second best quality in business after Nintendo but still...

Has anyone played the first Shinobi on Sega Master System and saw how ridicilous that one jump is in that one stage???

Has anyone seen (avgn has a Video about it) how many bugs the first metal gear game on NES had???
´
Castlevania was an awesome game, but it could have even improved in Nintendo had made it.

Zelda 1 how good was it? i cant remember any bug i ever encountered in the entire game.

Not to mention the awesome 3ds we have now.

does anyone remember how bulky other handhelds were??

i had a sega master System, you needed press diagonal to upward to make a high jump in the game Rastan. Really there was a Sega Master System Controller for sale (that didnt have diagonal directions) , so you couldnt play that game,

My sega controller broke while still being in the Master System era, my Nintendo controllers still work today after 20 years.

gaming pretty much would suck today without Nintendo. Nintendo is the reason video gaming is great today.

Its hard to pick between Sony and Nintendo. Both companies exclusive games are awesome but are just so different to each other. It's hard to explain
