Forums - Nintendo - I know why the wii U is not selling well- another Retail adventure

I predict a post Christmas sales burst when parents and casuals realize that Wiis aren't freaking Wii Us.

Nintendoland is what Kirby above said, no one want's the deluxe bundle, undershipped. Other than that it would be doing even better this holiday.

^_^ I got mine for 220 new! Walmart special 25 percent discount. In my computer armoire right now. ( damn that word)

Wait... You work at Walmart? That 25% off happens once every November for their employees. =P

i think nintendoland should just be the third software they throw in with the Mario and Luigi games. Only because it kind of showcases the ability of the gamepad. However if Nintendo plan not to use that ability then just bin Nintendoland.

Thanks for this.

So, it could be selling a lot more right now with simple stock management. Reggie should be fired, that's basically NoA's reason to exist.

And once this is fixed it'll be Jan/Feb and demand will be too low to matter.

I have a serious doubt that it's just supply/demand issues.

More like no one really wants one issues.

how would it have been Reggies fault anyway?

FINALLY, in my country Nintendo officially reduced the price of the console to a very competitive one, 350 U$ for the basic + 2 games, and 400 U$ for the deluxe one also with 2 games.
