Until they find some way of cloud powering 360 titles on the X1 it really can't be called the All in One, I'm afraid if you got a TV and you have no gaming system in front of it which can play the likes of Halo 4/Reach or GTA5 then you definately don't have all you need in gaming.
I 100% know why it doesn't have backwards compatibity btw, I appreciate the changed architechture I do just really lament its loss when I've got around 150 Xbox360 games.
