Right now its about -220k sales from last year in the month of November. I think VGchartz has only one more week of November left to record. I predict next week sale's will be at most 150k because of the small impact Super Mario 3D world has but black friday will give compensate it to give Wii U sale's a 50k increase from weekly sales of Nov. 23rd. So Wii U will be down YoY in November by 70k in my prediction. Important fact to note is that Wii U launched at Nov. 18, 2012 in US/Canada so it had only 2 weeks of November sales in 2012.

But what about December's sale? Do you guys think Wii U sales will increase, decrease, or not change from last year?

It's impossible for the Wii U to hold the sales that it had last year. It'll either have to go up or down.
And I'mma say it'll go down, but by some. Not a ton.

It will decrease by quite a bit, I don't think anyone in their right mind would gamble on selling 1.8 million or more in December this year.
1.5 million would be amazing but I think it could prove hard.
If the BF week sales are below 350k by any measure, anything above 1 million for December should be celebrated.

Most likely no.

Why 350k? Is that a standard for most console? Too bad VGchartz doesn't let us check past weekly sales data (I think).

No, just my personal take on it. Seeing as how hardware sales ususally drop by quite a bit in the next couple of weeks after and the last week of December is typically substantially down and more aligned to late/mid November sales, 350k is about the level it would have to be in order to keep enough momentum for a decent December and reach anything above 1 million sales for the last 5 weeks of the year.

I think it could fall below this 350k though, 330k wouldn't be a disaster, 200k would. For reference; the Wii usually had a 40-50% boost most years in Black Friday week, with the same percentage, the Wii U would reach only 160-175k which would be abysmal by anyone's metric.

Nintendo is Doomed... deal with it people!

Only Nintendo, Sega, Warner Bros and Ubisoft are making games for this "fallen" console while
hundreds of other studios are making games for xbox and ps4.

This is last Home Console for Nintendo. They should stick with handhelds.

Interesting facts and analysis. Thanks for your input!

Last November Wii U sold almost 800k in November. (This year Wii U hasn't even reached 250k as of Nov 23rd data)

If you tally the actual numbers for all regions (see my comparison thread), Wii U sold overk 800k in November and then 1.4m in December. That chart has a week in Dec incorrectly.

Yep. That chart incorrectly pushes the "Dec 1st" data to December when it should fall into November's tally as its the last week of November actual sales.

With that in mind, there is no way in hell Wii U will catch it unless Black Friday this year was well above expectations at this point.

Then its highly unlikely to think Wii U will do more than the 1.4m Wii U did last December... hell, I'm more confident it will sell under 1m than over.

Dont think so.
