Anyway, I've noticed it a bit. Most of it is just fanboys though, and quite honestly, I'm more annoyed with the console arguments than game arguments at this point.

Once we get past the first couple of months or so of console releases, it'll probably switch back to that.

The point of this thread is vague (thus OP is weird) and who has been calling out individual users ?

 

Tbh what are the typical X and Y that annoy you ? Consoles ?

Are you PC only, though?  Not that it matters, if gaming is your passion.  The only thing that I dislike about some PC gamers, is the need to bring up that they are more powerful in EVERY thread about graphics comparisons between the PS4 and One.  And not just a quick funny comment, but serious ones.  I think most people realize they are if you have a good rig.


Pretty much PC only, I haven't played console games for more than perhaps 50 hours or so all year and I won't be getting an 8th gen machine any time soon.

Nah, not too big on the whole "but the graphics are always better on PC" arguments, could be mostly because my GPU is getting old!

There is a reason I play on my PC though; I feel that it has vastly superior gaming potential overall and it doubles better than anything else as a multi-tasker since that has been its primary purpose for decades.

Definitely agree with your second point. The first point is phrased very weird but I think I agree as well. After I realized you weren't talking about Pokemon...

It also annoys me when people coming bash any numbers coming from vgchartz because it isn't perfect at tracking them. Why frequent the site then?

Another thing I'd like to add is when one fan base bashes a game of another fan base and then the other 2nd fan base has to go on the offensive and convince everyone that it's the best game available.

Yea, I didn't mean for the OP to be about bashing Xbox fans, just recently when I see it, that's who has been doing it.  Then again, I don't go into every single thread.

Yes, X represents one console, whether it be Wii U, PS4, or One.  Y represents one of the others X doesn't already represent.  And I didn't say anyone has been calling out individual users, just that that's not what this thread is about.

To be fair, I would bet that most of the people who always bring up the PC as better in those threads, probably don't have that great of one.  It is the internet, after all. 

And yea, you can't compete with PC as a multitasker.

Oh, I definitely agree with the bashing of VGC.  I get that the tracking isn't the best and will even call them out on it if I think there are reasons to believe they are wrong, but to constantly call this site shit is ridiculous.

I'm going to have to reread the OP.  I thought I wrote it decently, but you're the 2nd to not quite get it the first point.

To be fair the XBONE has a snap feature. They can be posting on vgchartz and playing simultaneously. How can you tell Nicki for example to stop posting and play some games when he's already doing both?
