I heard that it can see through walls and all through your house. Also heard it seens that info to Mircosoft. That's not good at all if true. Has anyone else heard this and are you concerned if you have or is getting an Xbox 1?

In all seriousness, it can measure your heart rate, track your eye movements and your expression, along with regular and infra-red recording.

There is a great potential for MS to profit selling data for advertising and television. Who is watching the TV and where at a particular time, and their mood at the time. Sorted into demographics using your user profile information. Always-on Kinect 2.0 could listen in on regular conversation to pick out brand names (along with other sensitive information). I have a Kinect 1.0 on top of my TV, but it is never powered or connected to the XBOX unless I'm about to use it, the features of Kinect 2.0 make me never want it on at all.

Interestingly, as an aside, Kinect 2.0 doesn't have voice recognition. It has facial recognition, and can pinpoint the location of the sound of your voice.

this is true, and as another user said it can see you naked. a female microsoft employee called me and told me that she has seen my banana with kinect, she was so turned on from how huge it is that she just had to call me even though she risked getting fired. ohh and yeah, we banged.
