Get a 3ds, the fun is just way greater and if you are short on money get a 2ds

I don't get the thread, but Persona vs. Fire Emblem is a terrible comparision. Sure they are the best rated JRPG's for each system, but Persona is a remake, FE is brand spaning new.

Buy or or both, the aren't too expensive on sale. 3DS XL ws $149, and Vita was $179 on Black Friday, I'm sure Boxing Day sales will repeat the same deals.

I just bought a 3DS XL, waiting for it in the mail. If I didn't have such a DS/PSP/3DS backlog, I'd think about getting a Vita too.

Get them both. They are both good systems.

Kid Icarus: Uprising is the best game ever, better then a Home Console experience. So get a 3DS.

The 3D effect is way more better then the cinema.

I have no real opinion about handheld gaming systems, because I never buy them.

PS Vita might be the first one ever that I will buy, and this is only because I will buy a PS4. I did not buy a PSP for the PS3, but in some way the PSV does appeal to me now. In the end I will most likely not buy it, because I rarely/never play any games on the go, only at home, and find no reason what so ever to buy one.

But to me it's clear that the 3DS has more support from game developers, and Nintendo has had a strong grip on the handheld market for very long, so the 3DS should be the better choice for many reasons if you like to play handheld games.

So perhaps if you will buy a PS4 and/or prefer big Sony titles a PSV could be interesting. If not I'd go with the 3DS, for many reasons that has already been brought up in this thread.

RE: Revelations / Kingdom Hearts 3D / SMT IV / Bracely Default / Metal Gear Solid - AA titles and no Nintendo games. 3DS is the best handheld this gen. 

But of course, some Vita games are amazing
