Forums - Nintendo - Anyone else rusty at SSBM?

I've been playing it like crazy this week cause I barrowed it, 2 years of not playing has made me rusty but now I'm trying out new characters cause I'm about equal with all, I got a lot of enjoyment out of doing a Falcon Punch turning into a KO, maybe not going to change my main especially for Brawl but might make me take a little more time with characters I would have normally just passed over.

Anyone else feel this way?

Yeah, haven't touched Melee in a while.

The last time was when I stomped ass at the local gamestop the night of the Halo 3 launch.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

I haven't played in two years due to my PS2, Gamecube, and basically most of my collection burning up in a house fire =\ no insurance is a real bummer, last time I played was over at a friends house the summer of my senior year nearly 2 years ago, I am picking it back up fast but not as fast as I would like...

They gimped my main

Link, you'll have to prove yourself to me again...

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Lets put it this way. My roommate started playing a month ago and now he kicks my butt. So, maybe a little rusty.

^Sounds like it to me, I'm just getting used to playing again as Brawl is inherently different, so no need to get to be pro at it again just good enough ya know?

I actually started my Brawl training last week...Iwas definitely rusty at Melee. Went straight to Event 51 for practice. Beat it with Marth, got close with Samus, Link and Captain Falcon. Mario was unfortunately raped.

I did acquire all the trophies back then and no friends of mine could beat me in 4 man melee, but after playing it recently, I've lost the touch. I need to practice for Brawl :)

I've got the touch!!

I just started playing again this week to get back in smash shape.
I feel the burn.. oh yea ......feel that burn....
