If this would be correct, X1 and PS4 might just go head to head worldwide for some time, simply because MS has allocated more stock in their most important market while Sony has spread out their stock. I don´t know what strategy is the best though. One seem to gain from the other not having anough stock in one country and the other seem to gain from one not releasing in as many countries. At the same time, none of us will know until numbers come through.

Im fairly convinced MS had intentionally held more stock for Black Friday. All week my local Targets and Walmarts showed them in stock for sale. When I was in store throughout the week (a couple targets and one Walmart) there was none on the shelves. I didnt bother to ask if there were any in the back but its safe to assume if its showing in stock it should in the big empty area next to the games.

FWIW, there was 1 xbox one in stock at my local Walmart on Saturday.
