As you all should know by now I'm a huge Killzone fan, KIllzone 2 being my favourite. I sinked over 400 hours into the multiplayer of Killzone 2 and about 150 into Killzone 3. Killzone 3 was a bit of a let down for me after Killzone 2, but Killzone SF may just bringing me back to the same excitement Killzone 2 did. 

I've only ever been interested in the Multiplayer which is generally the case for all shooters on the market. Multiplayer first, singleplayer for when I feel like changing it up. I've only sinked a few hours into KZ SF single player and it's about what I expected from a KZ campaign. All Killzone games to me have always  had a pretty average campaign, but the same can be said about most shooters on the market. At the end of the day it's all about the multiplayer and Killzone SF delivers in that sector.

This is not me trying to say all review are wrong. This is just a fellow Killzone fan that actually went into this game feeling like I was going to be disappointed. After all the average reviews it had been getting I was pleasantly surprised that the game was far better than I expected.

So yeah...I'm not sure if the single player is going to turn out shit in the end, nor do I care. I brought this game for the multiplayer, and I will be playing it for months to come.

so you are saying the multiplayer is good? is it better than KZ3's multi? would you say its better than KZ2's?

Custom warzones add some freshness to the multiplayer, kinda reminds me of the counter strike days where we just used bombs and knives against noobs.

I'm debating on whether to pick this up or not. I really liked KZ2, but wasn't a big fan of KZ3.

Reviews and some peoples opinions on here have thrown me off the game a bit, but I'd still be willing to give it a chance.

It's better than KZ's 3 multi, I don't think anything thing could beat 2's in my eyes BUT it comes very close to 2's. I do wish it had jet packs though, but they may add them into the DLC maps.

That's good, you're in the same boat as me. I thought I was going to hate this game, after 2 or 3 multi battles I was like right into it! the first battle I was like damn this feels weird but once you're used to it you'll have a blast.

thats awesome. i am very much with you when it comes to how i view this franchise. multiplayer >> singleplayer. saying that is comes very close to KZ2's multi is really awesome for me. KZ2 is the best online experience i ever had. 

Yeah I always just hack away at the singleplayer over a few months.

Multiplayer is very addictive, and the maps are great!

Amazing, have you seen what they are going for on trade me!!?? one went for $2000 the other day!!! lol it is a bit lacking in apps atm but its slicky smooth and super fast.
