Forums - Nintendo Discussion - LoZ A Link Between Worlds Digital Sales In US Speculation: Less Than 6 Days of Sales, Its Between 70k-120k o.O

How Much Will It Sell In The US Lifetime?

Over 5 Million O.o 28 31.46%

4mil+ 9 10.11%

3mil+ 12 13.48%

2.5mil+ 9 10.11%

2mil+ 5 5.62%

1.5mil+ 14 15.73%

1mil+ 12 13.48%

Total:89

Now Before people ask how i know this, i'll try to explain it. Remember this is pure speculation. Im comparing LoZ to Fire Emblem Awakening and Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon on eShop (US) to make it easier for everybody to understand! (Its between both of those titles in digital sales in just 6 days!)

I think with the New Bundle (counts as digital sales) and cuz this is LoZ, the game will have very strong sales, obviously true looking on the eShop (US).

↓↓↓Now here are facts as of Nov 28th. (6 Days of Release)↓↓↓

⇒On the eShop (Nintendo 3DS Downloads Ranks)

[Ranked 8th] Fire Emblem Awakening

[Ranked 9th] LoZ ALBW

[Ranked 10th] Sakura Samurai

[Ranked 11th] NSMB2

[Ranked 12th] Luigi's Mansion 2

[Ranked 13th] Pokemon X

*With this LoZ is right behind Fire Emblem. Fire Emblem as any nintendo fan would know had a low supply thus having huge digital sales [Fact]

*Fire Emblem As of Mid April had sold over 240k in the US [Fact] and out of that 80k of it was digital sales [Fact]

As of Mid Sept Fire Emblem Sold 390k in the US. Even if only 10% of what sold from mid Apr - mid Sept (150k so 15k digital) are digital it puts Fire Emblem over 95k 2 months ago.

Proof of 80k Sales (look under sales)→ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_Emblem_Awakening

⇒Speculation Fire Emblem Sold according on VGC 285k on Week 31. This same time in the link above showacases fire emblem sold 390k (retail+digital). This means according to this Digital Sales in mid Sept is around 105k (obviously more now as this was 2 months ago)

⇒Now for Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon! LM2 sold 863k in the US as of Sept 12th! God Damn i kno! Sales are definitely over 900k in the US by now. (realistically somewhere between 930k-980k

Nintendo has stating LM2 (amoungst other games on eShop) are roughly 11% digital. This puts LM2 roughly over 90k in sales.

★ VERDICT ★

Fire Emblem(over 100k) > LoZ > Luigi Mansion (at least 80k)

I'll be nice and add 70k in the op just in case LM Digital Sales are a minimum of between 6%-8% digital (yeahhhh right! :P)

Hope this helps!!! How do you feel about this speculation! No matter what anybody says, in 6 days LoZ sold no less than 70k digitally!

JUST HOW MUCH SALES WILL IT GET IN TOTAL???

ENJOY!!!!!!!!

That bundle helps!!! Im still updating the op! I'll be comparing Luigi Mansion Sales to it since LoZ surpassed it! Luigi Mansion sold over 800k life to date by mid sept!  digital sales are over 10% but lets say it is 10%. This means LM2 sold over 80k digitally, and that was 2 months ago and LoZ is ahead of that!!!

Both Fire Emblem and ALBW had bundles in which the games were pre-installed, so this isn't surprising.

Damn that bundle really helped digital sales. Ahead of NSMB2 and Pokemon already

True that (fire emblem didn't sell as well on bundles though, it was more of very low supply) LoZ has holiday backing it up! Its good to see these high sales though, FW sales will have 2 days of sales followed by this week (BF included). This puts it very well considering LM2 sold over 900k in the US!!!

No post O.o

Does anybody know how high LoZ in other countrys (3DS download option)

Honestly, no handheld Zelda game has sold 2 million in America since Link's Awakening 20 years ago, not even Phantom Hourglass. Ocarina sold pretty well for a remake, but I voted 1.5 million+ to be safe.
