Microsoft has a good deal for Xbox Live subscribers in Japan. In December, they will release an 18 month subscription to Xbox Live Gold plus a download code for Fable Heroes. This bundle will cost for 5,754 yen ($56), a steal considering that a 12 month subscription to Xbox Live Gold is $59.99 here.

Microsoft also has a Grand Theft Auto V cards with 14 months of Xbox Live Gold available in Japan now for 5,229 yen ($51)

Wow, that's a pretty good deal. I picked up my last subscription card 12 + 1 month (13 total) for about 4,300 yen iirc. This is a better deal and comes with a game. I might pickup two of them so the gf and I can play each other on our 360s. She's a big Fable fan as well.
