With the price drop, it's probably an even bigger loss right now.

Both WiiU's are sold for a loss(And I believe the White WiiU got discontinued if I am remembering correctly). If one was being sold for a profit they would have let you know. Companies announce this stuff for their stockholders etc
Nobody can say for sure who is selling what with or without a loss.
All we have here is just speculation. All by all, it does seems that maybe the PS4 is the only one that is being sold with a loss. By this time Nintendo probably has reduced production costs of the WiiU

You are something else. Keep trying though. I was talking about reggie saying they would profit off one game sold.

Maybe you should try a little less. Maybe you should focus on what the actual announcements was. Xbox One profitable or very close on day one. WiiU was announced that it would be taking a loss on day one, and PS4 was announced to be taking a loss on day one. This is what each company said. I did show you the announcements of these but you ignore them. Why? Because you think you know more than the companies that built each console? Well ok then.
so because someone elses quote benefits you it means the other one never existed? Thats called cherry picking. Keep trying

Nintendo announced it Twice. Before launch and after launch. They were more in line with Sony's comment saying they will make it up with games. That has always been true and they never played around that. Not cherry picking, that is what was said.
Nor do I have a reason to Cherry pick. I for one have a WiiU and hope it does well where as you all i've seen is downplay anything not sony.

That wasn't true for last gen. MS, Sony and most third parties operated in the red for much of the time. Also, the PS4 and One have not lifted sales of CoD, AC or other games. Any company losing money before will not suddenly be making money now. |
Software sales aren't even out yet...
Were you expecting CoD and AC ps4/xb1 versions to sell 10s of millions in the first week?

First week US PS4+PS3+360 sales, plus reasonable extrapolation of One sales from those and the VGC preorders, show CoD and AC sold less than last year's PS3+360 total
This does not imply a healthy game industry. Every company in the games industry had to be projecting that the new consoles would increase the size of the industry. Personally I was expecting a modest increase. No one predicted a decrease.
Does this not strike you as worrying for the industry? Do you think the industry can increase profits while dev costs go up and sales go down? Or do you think future data will contradict this?
