How is this a bad thing if it's from Sony?

Well whatever it is, its better not to take the chance and just change your password. I did.

Wasn't Adobe hack not too long ago too?



I didnt have to change my password at all. I have the same one since the outage was lifted in 2011



I wasn't forced to change my password, but as it happens I did so recently

I've been moving to randomised passwords to make things actually fairly secure, so I have been replacing my standard password with randomised ones at sites which can take payment (I use lastpass)

I haven't changed my password since the PSN hack which was more than 2 years ago, iirc. Sony hasn't asked me to change my password...

Nah, that can't be it. Otherwise, they would've asked me to change my password which is password1.



Hopefully they dont ask me to change mine, cause i think i put a random birthdate on my account...



They're talking about it on IGN.
It looks like PSN might got hacked again or Sony thinks that threat is eminent.
