Disney Digital 3D always comes with Dolby Atmos Surround Sound, and the intro to both Disney Digital 3D & Dolby Atmos is pretty sweet, especially for Disney Digital 3D intro. They use to have their own 3D glasses, but now they use Real D 3D glasses. Anyways, if you see Disney Digital 3D it looks the same as any other movie that uses 4K Digital 3D projectors with perfect alignment. I read another person's review of the Lego Movie 3D, and they diffintely had a different experience with the color, and also during one scene for how Will Ferrell's forehead looked like. The difference between the 2 experiences, is that the other user had well collaborated 2K projectors, but not very well calibrated, while I had 4 K projectors' plus also, I think the other users experience might have also been affected by not perfectly enough align cameras, and maybe the Real D glasses need to be replace once in a while. Most IMAX cinema rooms have 2K projectors, but should all be replace with 4K projectors by the end of this year, or during 2015. I liked the 3D in the first 3D Spider-Man movie. Anyways, I going to see it in "Premium Large Format" 3D, so that way I'm guaranteed 4K projectors, at least at the theater I go to. I hope my experience comes out better then yours for 3D. Plus the odds are with me, but I still won't know until I experience the movie in Rave XTREME 3D. |
Thanks for the info! Hope you enjoy the movie and the 3D experience!
Saw Spider-man 2 nearly 2 weeks ago now. It was enjoyable but there were many things wrong with it and things I didn't like. Not they affected the individual film that much but some story aspects I didn't like at all, Spider-man is portrayed well though, really well but his obsession with his parents is completely overshadowing Uncle Ben and I don't like that.
Hmm, pie.
Yeah, but the first 3 Spider-Man movies already used up Uncle Ben in each and every movie, so it's fair to do some originality in a reboot 10 years after the first Spider-Man set of movies. And I'm guessing you must live in a foreign country to have seen it 2 weeks ago, you lucky bastard. Did you see it in 2D or 3D? (@The Fury)
And I did enjoy the trailer for Spider-Man 3D 2 in "Premium Large Format" 3D, but I still won't judge the 3D in the movie for the theater format, until I see the full movie in 3D. The Godzilla 3D trailer at times were not that impressive, but they can change the 3D and submit it, 1 day before release. At least I will enjoy every monster scene in Godzilla 3D, if it's the same as the trailer. (@V-r0cK)
Here's another comedy movie from everyone's favorite overweight white actress, LOL. It's called; Tammy:
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 short review:
The quality of the movie is Definitely better then Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier.
The characters are definitely cool.
the 3D effect was good except during the first half of the Final Electro Battle, and except during the end of Electro's debut in Time Square. And I believe the 3D might have suck in a few forgettable scenes as well, maybe.
It was converted from 2D by "Legend 3D". I already knew it was converted, because of numerous scenes having a blurred background, which is a tell, that it was recorded in 2D. Especially since 3D movies only blur the background or foreground only 0 to 2 times during the entire movie. Ironically, The Amazing Spider-Man 1 & Captain America 1 were recorded entirely in 3D, but The Amazing Spider-Man 2 & Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier where recorded in 2D, LOL but true. (Kyle from South Park) THOSE BASTARDS !
The movie already gives you a bridge to "The Amazing Spider-Man 3 at the end before the credits.
Also, during the Movie it's mention that Peter Parker (Spider-Man) has a unibrow. So appearately his shaves his eyebrows, LOL.
Altogether I would say it was a good movie, but not a great movie. But definitely the best Spider-Man movie ever, sadly.
During the film, there was one time where the right handle of the 3D glasses was cutting a little into my ear (not literally, LOL), but I just simply push the right handle of the 3D glasses up a bit on my head and problem solved during this movie.
This movies 3D effect gives me flash backs of Iron Man 3 3D, where I see it in the same size screen for the 3D effect as people saying they didn't felt like it was in 3D, but then find at that most of the movie was in 3D, but there were a bunch of scenes (but not too many) with hardly noticeable 3D as well.
