when i look back at evo and how fucked up the crowd's reaction to the double helix employees was, i am even more happy for them that the game seems to be good gameplay wise.

They were interrupting Marvel Finals for a commercial of game on a system nobody wanted. Evo isn't a free event. I'd boo also.

yeah next time i also act like an ass to everyone who has to show something for a product i don't want. i'm sure the organizer allowed them to show killer instinct and told them to do that at this time. so when i have a prob with it i go to the organizer and don't be an ass to the probably nice guys of double helix who put a lot of work in this game.

Cool that you're into the game S.T.A.G.E I remember you being very critical of it. I just thought you should wait a bit to let the game prove itself. Kyliedog also iirc. They're also going to add way more moves right?

looks good,that guy can fight

I played Killer Instinct and I must say the game feels like Street Fighter and Killer Instinct in one, which for some odd reason is still remarkably fun. I love it. You can increase the variation in the combos more than the original.

The system seems very strong from what I've played. My friend just got the Xbone and I've been wailing away at it. I've only played three matches and put him to shame. He should've never let me use the practice mode. LOL I know less than a quarter of this game and I am dominating. All smack-talk aside, the moves are balanced with the players as they have strong points and weak points. Even though the game was rushed to make it to the launch, its pretty good that you have a core group of characters. They still need to balance out each one though. The movesets are set in stone, which is why it seems like it will take more time to have other characters like Spinal and Fulgore. I will rape with the both of them when they come in. Learning curve is easier than I thought if you are good at this type of game. If not, you have to learn what autos are and everything and figure out what works best with your play style.

You get a look at Kinect? I'm going to be playing KI this whole week. I've no idea about most of the moves you mentioned but I'm a fast learner

I can live without Kinect, but it was fun for like an hour if you know all the right words. We ended up turning off the Kinect after a while. Sometimes its listening in and it just get annoying, but its not. When my friend pissed me off I just yelled "Xbox Snap Netflix" and he was like "WTF BRO!?" (LOL). Anyway, Killer Instinct is a must for any fighting game fan. Definitely not for weaklings and you will get thrown out quickly if you dont figure out what you need to do. If you play it be somewhat dedicated or else you will get handled by people online.

i haven't gotten around to playing ki, but it looks fun as heck.

This game is really great. The combat is really deep. And the strategy value is pretty good. Nothing beats finally learning to pull a great combo off.
