 Play Decima (third level) on Veteran Difficulty using the ship Nemesis. Be disciplined with how you kill your enemies, ie don't kill an entire wave at once; give them time to respawn while you're killing so you constantly have enemies on screen. Only use your bomb in a very desperate situation, and make sure to use boost as much as you can. When you reach the boss (big red cube thing), focus on hitting the gray cubes he shoots out. If you can get through the entire level like this without dying at all, you should reach 15 by the middle of the boss fight. I got it on my first try doing this. 


awesome! Thanx man that one worked,  i lost it early in the level, but made up for it at the end with the cubes, you can get like an extra 2-3x from just the cubes. (is it just me, or is the second boss harder then 3 and 4)

 

edit:  Just got the Plat! I found a trick with the last boss in his last stage.

 Congrats bro. Glad I could help. The second boss was actually very annoying, especially on Veteran. The 3rd and 4th are extemely easy for some reason, and the last boss is just a bitch overall. Phobos is the perfect solution to the second boss though.

While i like Phobos high rate of damage, i find him to slow to be usefull and his boost isnt strong enough.  I tap boost alot, especially during bosses.  The blast you make coming out of boostdestroyes fireballs/rockets   and since you can move about as fast as them you can make "dive bombs"   By flying away while shooting then just as your aboe to leave the range to hit,him you boost forward and start moving backwards again, repeating process.  there is even a spot uring the final boss where you can boost into the small gap above him as he snakes through the level and boost back in everytime you get out.   its impossible for him to hit you lol

But the second boss keeping that 4'th green marker on the farside of the circle was annoying as hell lol

 True, but Phobos' firepower more than makes up for it at times. I actually did the 1CC trophy as Phobos.

haha nice,  well you know its a good game when different players can be more successful with different ships.  I hated the last boss with phobos, nemesis might take alot more hits, but you can tap boost and have it recharged a second later,  very easy to just avoid everything, especially when hes popping in and out of those little holes.    I havent touched co-op so im gonna check that out tonight.

I do really like the rarity thing, I've been looking at the new PS app (just launched in Europe) for the rarity and it's quite interesting how few people actually finish their games

When you say "finish their game" do you mean beat the game or get a platinum?  I have beaten tons of 360 ps3 and a couple ps4 games but only have a couple platinums because I don't care about trophies whatsoever.  Also, what app are you talking about?

I mean literally finish the game, there are actually more platinums that I expected.

The new PSN app on Android (released today in Europe) now shows the new rarity measure that Sony have added. It just tells you how many people have got every trophy. So for example, on the Walking Dead only 25% of people have got the platinum, which you get for finishing the game

Congrats! And yeah awesome game and no grind involved, just some skill tests.

I got the plat too now I have 2 PS4 plats... Resogun and Sound Shapes which I got simply syncing my PS3/PSV save (lol at triple platinum).

Hang on, you get 3 platinums for the same game!!???!?!!? They need to bring Motorstorm RC to the PS4 so I can have a triple platinum

I just got the Platinum for Resogun a few minutes ago and damn was it tough.The hardest trophy for me was beating the game on veteran and that took me some time to get(the last board on Resogun is very difficult). The next platinum trophy I'm aiming for is Killzone and I hope that it isn't as difficult as Resogun.

I played Killzone on hard my first playthrough and went through whole chapters without dying.  It really isn't that difficult.  I tried the other 3 main Killzone games on hard and didn't even get close to beating 2 or 3.  1 I beat after a lot of dying but Shadowfall was much easier than any previous entry.

just got my first for the ps4 with COD ghost currently a .1% for platinum, all challenges on extinction was the tough one for that other wise easy plat COD game

extinction is a pretty fun mode prefer it to zombies and even though a few trophies were time consuming on it i enjoyed the mode
