Day one numbers are not as important as some here think they are. Sony said they had 1mi preoders a couple of months ago, and I haven´t heard of any new reestock of preorders since.

The situation in NA is to belive that no PS4 were available at retailers this whole week. Sold out first day, don´t they?

The demand for PS4 in NA is close to 3mi this hollyday season. So, do people here realy belive that countries like Argentina, Chile, Portugal or Brazil will get any significant number of unities?

Sorry, but this is delusional.

If the x1 only launched in North America it would have sold a half million.

They don´t have 3mi to sell before Christmass. They probably don´t have 2mi untill next week.

If they waste all PS4 suppply at smaller markets they are screwed.

There is no magic tree ripped with PS4 to pick and a magic supplay chain ready to delivere then to every custumer that wants it.

Your logic is flawed with the idea that because sony only launched in two countries it would have done even better in thirteen, both companies only had a certain amount to sell MS choose to spread the wealth and Sony choose to focus on just two.

Sony wouldn't have had more units to sell and MS would have sold just as many if it lauched in only two countries.  At this point both are slling what they make.  Of course that will change over time but for now both are selling at the same momentum because are selling everything they can.

So the answer to your questions is you should be impressed by both, not sure why "unimpressed" would even be an option considering the facts.

We should just wait one week....I know I know..., it's too much waiting...., but when 29 November arrives, all the truth will be revealed to all of us...We just need to be a little patient. Right now is just stupid to get angry about this topic, because everybody has made it clear what they think will happen....so we only need to be here after 29 November and see the results.

it is a lot harder and takes more time to plan and deliver for 30 countries than it is for 1. If you think Sony couldnt have just included a crapload more units if they decided to concentrate on 1 market then you are flat out wrong.
