maybe a special edition for titanfall, new colour or just a "new model" which is the same just without the needed update to kill all the drm stuff?

The way they wanted to implement the DRM was stupid, but a lot of the online related ideas that branched from it were quite clever. It failed because they royally fucked up how they presented it, and tried to push it onto people too hastily. MS themselves are generally a pretty clever company, it's just their PR department that leaves a lot to be desired sometimes :P (though let's be honest, none of the big three have a perfect record when it comes to PR).

yeah digitimes is crap. I remember years ago they had a rumor saying blu ray 360's were being manufactored.

I still want my 299 (or at least 399) Kinectless Xb1. If things get bad enough they'll do it.
