Stop trolling. No matter what evidence you may think you have, a last gen game does not look better then a new gen one, launch game or not.

What he said was rather compelling though. What GT6 will offer as a whole will trump Forza 5. That and you will also get exclusive cars and tracks to the game. Forza is a solid game, GT with every game just becomes more and more of the definititve driving fans game.

lol at the smug elitism

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Are you just throwing words around or actually thinking about what i just said? As a total package GT is STILL the definitive experience. Forza is STILL a solid racer. No excuses to GT5 for the old cars, but GT6 is looking, much, much better than the previous game. Forza 6 six looks pretty solid though, but its looking like a lot of DLC is in its future for Forza fans. Start looking for through the change in your wallet.

It's quite ironic coming from you. How many times over the years did you troll GT on here?  Forza this and that...review crown, everything about it is 90+, multiple threads and argruments, combining 4 Forza games sales against 1 GT game and saying Forza is the biggest series seller. Last year, combining Forza H and F4, Forza outsold GT for the year. Moving goal post time after time whether it was Forza vs Gt or PS3 lifetime vs X360 lifetime sales. If there was anyone here over the years with a smug elitism it's you.

Now all of the sudden Forza 5 on a next gen system can't even review higher then GT5 on metacritic. A game that you spent so much time bashing. No no, this is not trolling or elitism, this is crow, enjoy!

Microsoft depending on outsiders to do their dirty work for them and the venture is a failure once more.

They never learn. Last gen: Silicon Knights= This gen: Crytek.

P.S.

I called it that the gameplay was going to get old and repetitive since it incorrectly rips two superior games in combat with more years of practice in the genre. You dont need to play it, but rather pay attention to a combo string and it will tell you the story. Crytek always makes the prettiest game. At best what they did for Microsoft was show how pretty of a game the system could run.

I know, right? And who is going to be this gens Quantic Dream for Sony? Maybe it will be Ready at Dawn since Sony is depending on them to do their dirty work with The Order: 1886.

Actually this gens Quantic Dream for Sony will be next gens Quantic dream for Sony, considering that Heavy Rain was very successful with over 100 million dollars made off it plus Beyond while not "great" still got decent reviews and will likely have good legs for sales. QD is also making PS4 games at the moment. You can't really compare Silicon Knights to Quantic Dream this gen at all. Too Human was a monster of a failure with 750k total sales here and 65 meta score..

Crytek is a random third party and Ready at Dawn is a second party whom has been making Sonys PSP secondary titles all of last gen. Ready at Dawn is composed of former Naughty Dog employees and five out of six of their titles were created for Sony. Really? Do you want to go there, Allard? Ready at Dawn is making The Order in tandem with Sony Santa Monica. Quantic Dream hasn't really had a failed venture with Sony yet, so I have yet to see what you are blathering on about. It's almost time for Sony to add them to their ranks. Quantic Dream already has future project for Sony plotted out. This is what happens when you choose your companies well and have a good relationship with them. Yes...the company is a third party, but they've been a second party about as long as Remedy has for Microsoft and no one is bitching about them. Nice try, Allard, Nice try. My criticism was closeness of the level of fail to Silicon Knights. Pay attention.

Ready at Dawn is a 3rd party company just like Crytek. They even worked on a Wii game last gen. I guess you don't understand the whole 1/2/3 party, but I don't want to explain it to you.

I am not sure where it is you're asking me if I "want to go", I just saw you make a silly comment and responded. I don't care what qualifiers you want to add to Ready at Dawn or The Order, like "well its in tandem with blah blah!!". Fact of the matter is it's a 3rd party company paid by Sony to provide them with an exclusive. And yet, had someone else posted in a thread that they were "doing Sony's dirty work", you'd have defended Sony. Just like you're doing now. It's adorable, really.

Idk why you would list Silicon Knights when there are more than a few partnerships MS formed last gen that were highly successful. You talk as if nothing good has come of it. So, I responded accordingly, posting a partnership that even it itself had both a good (Heavy Rain) and bad (Beyond) result. I really didn't think you'd need it explained out for you, but oh well.

Also, is Ryse even out yet? If the game goes on to sell a couple million, is it still as big a "failure" as Silicon Knights? Isn't there a supposed sequel coming set in the medevial times? Seems mighty hypocritical to insinuate that MS does not form positive relationships over a long time with developers, while at the same time you're ready to label their Crytek partnership a failure based on the review scores of one game. Thank goodness you don't run any business. Look at Sony and Guerrilla Games. Their first game was a dud both critically and sales wise. Now they made the flagship, most hyped launch title for their PS4 console (which was also a critical flop, but oh well).

Either way thanks for the funny comment. I always enjoy your cute MS ribbing.

I understand what first, second and third party is. It all depends on who owns the IP. Almost every game Ready at Dawn has made since inception has been a Sony exclusive save for a Wii game.  Think about it. ;)

Guerilla Games doesn't make duds, you just don't like them. I have no problem with that. I like their games, so your opinion isn't relevant there. The deal they made with Crytek is a mirror image of the dud of a deal they had with Silicon Knights and if you cannot see it, I think you're blinding yourself. I fell for this when I was 360 only back when I joined this site in 2007 and I am not falling for it again, Allard. I am glad I could be the one to out it too.

Ryse had their embargo pushed up to thursday so it didnt affect public perception before the game came out. Microsoft must've known it was going to tank. Smart move on their part. Even reviewers were wondering why Microsoft specifically allowed certain embrargo dates rather than just letting all the reviews fly. Think about it....if people knew earlier this week they most likely would've scrapped their preorders on account of the reviews. Well played by Microsoft but the deception still works.

Sony  let the chips fall where they may with their games and all the reviews happened in a day.
