Wow, since when did a console at launch determine what the next 7 years would be? Calm down, this can easily be put in a patch.

Not 50gig 500gig. So if you installed every launch game on a X1 or PS4 could you hit the 500gig mark? |
I ment 500. and I don't know if it can be technically reached but I don't think there are enough games worth filling the hard drive yet.
Right, because every single person is going to max out the hd in a matter of weeks and there is absolutely no way MS can patch this. Xbox One doomed.

OMG!
Pre order cancelled!
lol i wonder what the "others" will say about this...

While it may sound like a conspiracy to some people, I bet this is the EXACT reason. I mean why else would it not be there? EVERY device made with a HDD or flash storage since at least the 90's has been able to show you how much space you have left. And when this info is finally revealed, I imagine some people are going to be ticked off.
Wait--what?
I was reading this, thinking, "yeah, no big deal, they'll add it in soon," but then there is an official reason/excuse why it's not there? Yep, they'd better reverse course and patch that in, because that reason is really, really lame.

It is really weird. Did they run out of time!? Is there any other device that doesn't let you see how much memory you are using and or have left? |
Yes.
An OS feature missing at launch?!?! No fucking way!!!
Come on guys... Seriously...
