A guy ran up to our line and offered $50 in cash and a brand new (regular edition) Xbox One. Nobody bit. I thought it would be like the airlines and he would keep going up. But nope, he walked away.

Then we all got to talking about how that actually wasn't such a good idea. With the bonuses in the Day One edition.

There were two lines, the reserved and pre paid line I was in, then the hopeful new line for people wanting to buy that night. Some people came up just before midnight and they told them they were sold out. The non reserved line was a block or two long, guess they had figure they were going to sell them out, as I asked if they had a few extra for retail when I paid for mine and they said they did.

so that had a 6 foot high pallet or two of them (that I could see). How many Xbox Ones do you think that is?  (I guess 200-300 or so.)

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

I also had 2 pallets at my local store...

Xbox One shipped a lot more than some were predicting.

Have 2 Day One editions!

I think they shipped lots of stock.  I was in a few stores in Toronto today and there were piles of consoles available in all of them.

I'm pretty sure EB sold out completely. JB HiFi, an Australian retailer, had 5 standard editions only the day after. It will vary store to store.

The EB Games at the Toronto Eaton Centre had some.  The Futureshop nearby had about a dozen out on display a few hours ago.

There were Microsoft people in the middle of the mall with a big demo set up.  People were playing Killer Instinct.  The game looks solid.

Wow, I can't imagine stock being left over in those amounts. I suppose Australia got alot less though.

You should have tried Killer Instinct while you were there!!
