First I've heard of something like this, and it wouldn't make a lot of sense to me since as far as I know you can still only share your digital stuff between two consoles so this would be the detriments of the family sharing plan without any of the benefits.  That said I'll be home in an hour or so so I'll let you know.  If it's true it's extremely shitty of Sony imo and an unfortunate decision without much logic.

have you register your PS4 and set it as master? be sure to do that for a better feedback...

I just turned on my PS4, Was asked to update PSN, i said later. SO i was in the UI not connected to the PSN. I selected to play resogun. It asked me to update the system, i said later.

The game loaded and i played resogun. never connecting to the PSN.

Do you connect via wifi or by cable?  I only have a cable so I was going to actually fully unplug it when I get home just to be absolutely certain.
