So ... am I fine to get 5.1 sound on my soundsystem and this is just for headsets?

What. The. Fuck. I hope to hell this doesn't take forever to get straightened out. I refuse to do any serious gaming without my Ax Pros. This is the first thing that I've heard that actually pisses me off a little.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Not sure. If the game you're playing only outputs Dolby digital surround sound you might only get 2.1 stereo.

this is for sound systems, headsets can be hooked up via USB.

good DTS is far better anyway... but yeah it sucks for DDS users... pretty sure a fix is already in the works... we all know half of the launch complain should be ironed out on both consoles in the following months.... just sucks for early adopters
