This is not a thread about a website giving system x a 2 while giving system y a 3. Instead it's only for head to head articles that claim a winner. Thought it'd make sense to have one thread for all of these instead of making a new one for each article. Post links to ones not in the OP and I'll ad them as soon as possible.

The launch line up section is all that matters to me. I've put up with hardware that I consider bad just so I can play some great games (DS3 being the main culprit). So the hardware itself is kinda irrelevant. I'm not even mildly interested in either at this stage due to the line ups.

You'll get a lot of different opinions on this. For example

Polygon - XBO - 8.0 PS4 - 7.5
Verge - XBO - 7.8 PS4 - 7.7

In my opinion PS4 looks to be a bit more powerful but XBO seems to be more like a smart console and the controller with impulse triggers is impressive. From my point of view anyways.

Both looks great when all is said and done though.

The winner is Wii U.....

software can be updated and improved. yet hardware cannot. we won't see another generation for at least 5 years, keep that in mind.

i'm not saying xo is bad. 3rd party will always set its optimization target based on the less powerful one. so we won't see much difference when it comes to multi-plat games. microsoft will ensures that the xo gets full and fair support from 3rd party by all means. so xo fans is still going to enjoy this gen.
