You'll get a lot of different opinions on this. For example
Hardware reviews that I've seen
Polygon - XBO - 8.0 PS4 - 7.5
Verge - XBO - 7.8 PS4 - 7.7
In my opinion PS4 looks to be a bit more powerful but XBO seems to be more like a smart console and the controller with impulse triggers is impressive. From my point of view anyways.
Both looks great when all is said and done though.
