Forums - Gaming - LIST of ALL released exclusive x360 games

just to pipe in my 2 cents....if i have a choice between PC and console for a game i choose console version 100% of the time. I just prefer it. you can rant all you want about the advantages of mouse/keyboard but i just don't find mouse/keyboard as inviting and thus receive less enjoyment.

You know you can plug in a gamepad (Either a 360 one or a clone of a Dualshock 2) on a PC, and even plug your PC into your giant HDTV too right? PC does not limit your controller options, it just gives you more.

Also, I think the 360 is a great investment if you don't have a gaming PC. If you do though, it certainly effects your console purchase decisions, and the 360 having so many PC multiplat games certainly effects its sales.

@Krusnik
I agree with you, but I think he shot himself on the foot by admitting that he won't list PS3's exclusive list for another year cause PS3 don't have a great list yet. Because they don't and that's why I don't have a PS3.
But as I posted, I will purchase PS3 when they get a good list (Resistance 2).

I will say, however, most attractive thing about PS3 is that it is a BR player as well.

I can't believe most folks didn't see the purpose behind this thread Its Crazzy man who started it and I would like to think most persons are aware of his posting history [anything not PS3 basically sucks]. Although it did branch into a somewhat interesting debate on the viability of the PC as a gaming platform, its obvious this was just subtle, jab at the X360 as a worthwhile investment.

I mentioned it in my first post of this topic, but it was ignored. What I find funny is we have moderators engaging the topic as legitimate, not realizing it was flamebait against the 360, is in the wrong forum, and basically was a vehicle to sponsor two or three dead topics in the PC forum through links. Why this topic hasn't been moved to the Microsoft forum yet is beyond me.

Tag: Became a freaking mod and a complete douche, coincidentally, at the same time.

My PC is good enough to run many recent games, but I haven't really played games on the platform since the days of Monkey Island 2 and Betrayal at Krondor (with the exceptions of Grim Fandango and The Curse of Monkey Island). I even bought Escape From Monkey Island for PS2 rather than PC. As with some others, I simply enjoy the experience of playing on a console far more than a PC.

This isn't, of course, to say that anyone else should feel this way. Those who suggest that anyone who owns a capable enough PC would always choose the PC version, however, are simply incorrect. I haven't bought a PC game for something like six years.

Hates Nomura.

We don't have the ability to move topics, though it would be admittedly nice to have. As well as the ability to delete topics.

No one has said that people who have both options will always choose the PC version.  Just that the fact that there are PC versions of most major 360 games affects the sales of the console negatively.  Especially in places where PC gaming is stronger than console gaming like Germany.  That said, what is it about the console experience that you prefer?

LoL, you don`t see the difference between 1 year and 2 years? =))
maybe i should remove all x360 games which came in 2nd year? =)))

If you want to compare 1st year x360 exclusives and 1st year ps3 exclusives, i don`t mind. =))) Only that afer 2 year, the number of x360 exclusives decreased. =]

p.s. about pc and x360, it`s a matter of choice, but definetely it`s stupid to ignore pc as a gaming platform.
not to mention, that most pc/x360 games are FPS, RTS which a meant to be played better on PC. =]

But why should I have to? My consoles are plug in and play. PC games are not so much better than console games to make me go through the additional hassle of Dosbox or dual operating systems.

I haven't just bought a new computer and I don't own Vista. My fiance does however and getting old games to run on it is a joke. Age of Mythology specifically said it wouldn't work on Vista but it does while Empire Earth and Glory of the Roman Empire didn't mention it on the packaging but will not work.

Oh, so when you plug in your Wii, you can slip your old SNES cartriges in the disc drive and boot it up? Please, console backwards compatability isn't even comparable to PC backwards compatability. Is it more of a hassle to reboot your PC and select a different OS or to pull your SNES out of the closet, unplug your Wii, and your cable hookup and plug it in?

 Rebooting is more hassle. All my consoles are permanently hooked up to my TV. It's just as easy for me to play a SNES game or a Mega Drive game as it is to play a Wii game. And that still wouldn't solve my problem as neither XP nor Vista can run the games I want to play. My original Worms disc hasn't worked since Windows 95 and Bomberman last saw the light on Windows 98.

I keep my PC upgraded but yet I don't really play games on it. I used to try back in the day but I just could never get a good feel for the mouse and keyboard. I admit the PC is the best selection for MMO's, RTS's, FPS's, etc... The problem is there are people who just rather Consoles for their simplicity. The only game I really play on my PC is The Sims 2. Occasionally I will try a demo for an upcoming game but after a while I get tired of the M/K thing. Plus I think using a controller on a PC is wrong. It just never feels right.

The main point here is the PC is really just another console for MS. It like Nintendo putting a lot of the same games on Wii and DS.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

@Crazzyman
all I'm saying is that I agree with you so relax.
I agree that PS3 doesn't have many exclusive games right now - which you agree. and that 360 has great exclusive games because it's been out longer.

Thus I said, I'll purchase PS3 probably when Resistance 2 comes out, and also to play BR movies.

Do you know what their next SKU is going to be and how much it's going to be? I would think you'd know cause you are such a PS3 fan.
