Thats because it was Meh. The world was fun to look at and gameplay was improved over GTAIV but everything else was a step backwards, story, characters were way less interesting.
Anyway, overall good list. I'd take Tomb Raider out at least though.

That's what I thought until I saw the RPG line-up, Ni No Kuni and Fire Emblem had no problem making the list.

Troy Baker should have had a 3rd nomination for Persona 4 Golden!!!
Not really surprised he has two though, he has done an incredible amount of voice work recently.

Are games nominated in the "Most Anticipated Game" by fans (I know they vote for the winner) or chosen by the vote council (if the latter that's kinda dumb).

On that topic he should have been nominated for a 4th slot as the Joker in Batman: AO ;p
But anyhow they should be by actor, not character they protray.

It releases the day before the event, so it certianly would cut it close.
And on the subject of "Most Anticipated Game", they should have just left it blank and let the general public vote for any 2014 title (as much as a pain that would be to tally".
