i recently bought a pre-owned wii U cos it was a very good price, but i would buy only when all of them came out: X, mario kart and smash, so woud be sometime 2014.
PS3 is doing his paper very well, i dont think i need a PS4 or X1 soon. Also, I hadnt decided yet which one I would get. As I skipped X360 and missed kinect, and X1's kinect seem to be what MS promised about kinect(X360's kinect dont, so laggy, inacurate...) im pending to X1. But probably only in 2016. But lets see the exclusives first.

WiiU - Winter 2014 more than likely although things could change but unlikely. Waiting for more bundles, SSB4 and MK8.

3DS - Already pre-ordered the Zelda ALBW 3DS XL Bundle

PS4 - Winter 2015 (earliest) or Winter 2016 (the latest) - waiting for more games and better bundles.

PSVita - Summer 2014 (50%) - VitaTV release? Might get the 2000 series as well in the future.

About time you got a 3DS and joined the real master race ;) Your backlog, depending on your tastes, may be too big.

Wii U: Got it last month (zelda bundle)
PS4: Holiday 2015, when price comes down, more exclusive games are available and my backlog is smaller
X1: Holiday 2015, when price comes down, more exclusive games are available and my backlog is smaller
3DS: This month (Zelda bundle, are you seeing a trend here?)
Vita: Never (maybe the Vita TV)

I will choose between PS4 and X1 on holiday 2015, when there are more exclusive games and the price is lower, I will not buy them both.

Smart... I purchased a Wii U at launch and there was a point where I didn't turn the thing on for months... like April-September, except to browse Miiverse, or play a Wii game. If these consoles have any significant problems... I'm holding back big time.

Got a Wii U last week, plan on getting a PS4 when Infamous is released, and I´m kinda tempted to get a X1 next month.

Xbox One already paid for which will be my first ever launch buy for a console.
Wii U probably sometime next year if they get things going.
PS4 probably never unless they focus more on western gaming. I just don't care for anything coming out of Japan anymore.
