I hope Ryse is good, it is one of the most interesting looking games in a good while. However I can't help but think critically it's going to fare worse than Knack :/
Knack looked pretty good from what I saw, but I guess reviewers, who've actually played the game don't agree. I think Ryse will get a higher score due to graphic fidelity alone. I'm guessing just by from what I've seen, it deserves to get like a 60 or so, but will probably end up with a 75.
Getting a worse score than Knack should be really hard, but over the last 30 years I've learned that you should never underestimate Microsoft.
Ryse has "pretty" graphics and blood/gore... so that alone will get it higher review scores.
Plus Knack gameplay really bad (I have tried the demo)... It is too hard for young ones... and too lame for core gamers. It also has cheap frustrating sections.
Ryse may not have very engaging gameplay or issues in that area... but it will still be viewed as better... and I would agree... because at least it isn't a "platformer" that sucks.
Knack currently has the lead but I think Ryse will pull a come from behind victory. Games like Ryse tend to fare better with reviewers. Devil May Cry, Arkham, Bayonetta, Assassins Creed, God of War--give a critic a horde of enemies to kill with your bare hands and some decent to great gameplay and they jizz themselves. I jizz myself too. :P

Now you're just being ridiculous.
Kind of strange comparison, but I think Ryse will score a bit higher, probably somewhere in the 70's or 80's.
If I had to choose, I'd say 80 for Ryse.
