Sorry, I mustve just missed NSMBU entirely haha I added it though
Looks like Sony wins as expected. Also, Professor Layton is first-party?
Besides Mario, which everyone else seems to love, I have been fine with Nintendo's first party games over the past few years.
Animal Crossing was everything you could have asked for, L....Mostly 3DS games since I have not played much Wii U yet, but I think we can include Skyward Sword as well. Nintendo has been good.
Playstation exclusives have variety for every kind of people around the world so it will get mixed reviews(because sometimes reviewed by the people who is not real target of that game) and lands on meteoritic like that. But, it doesn't mean its just average game because some games are meant for everyone and some are for people with specific user base unlike other makers who never tries that kind of variety and always rely upon their established IP's without risks.
Playstation is for everyone with games being developed exclusively for each kind of people.
Review system we have is very stupid because they don't have some standards to review them like it should be mostly targeted towards this kind of people and should review based on that perspective instead they use their opinions of other old IP's related to that and bash the game not being better than them.
So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.
PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.
Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.
Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.
Layton is not Nintendo first-party. It's made by Level-5.
Ace Attorney is also not first-party... it's made by Capcom...

Eh? So a Pokemon game, Wii Party and a Brain Age game arent "notable" yet PSABR, Rain, Unit 13, Sly Cooper and Starhawk are "notable". Alright.
I think I understand this thread.
Have fun Jay. Toodles.

PSABR was hyped as the next Smash Bros, Unit 13 was suppose to be a big launch game for Vita or Zipper Interactive's return game, and Sly Cooper has always been praised.
The thing about Sony games is they usually get a lot of hype in general.
I'd highly doubt youre going to find anybody(very few) on internet forums who hypes up Wii Party or Pokemon Sidequest games.

Your list of games is missing Wipeout 2048.
Haven't played Puppeteer, Beyond Two Souls, or The Last of Us. I think I'll enjoy all three and am interested in eventually purchasing them.
MLB 13 The Show, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Unit 13, LBP Vita, Wipeout 2048, and Twisted Metal were all really good.
Motorstorm RC I thought was pretty bad, but got it for free. Playstation All Stars I did like it at first, but the better I got the more unbalanced I noticed the game was and the more I disliked it. So at first I really enjoyed it and got well over 100 hours of time into it, so the game did something right Gravity Rush is unique but it's only decent and the idea behind it gets old fairly quickly then the game starts to drag.

For the first party Nintendo games I've played Pokemon X and New Super Mario Bros 2. I own Fire Emblem but haven't played it. Fire Emblem is usually good though.
Pokemon X I rated it a 4.5/10. The single player campaign overall is very bad because of how boring it is to play through and while pvp is a little bit enjoyable, it fails to keep me interested. New Super Mario Bros 2 is decent, but when it's surpassed by just about every past 2D Mario title and most notable platformers that have came out since, it clearly says Nintendo needs to put more effort in the games.
Except Knack I just saw good to amazing scores in your list.
