Well every Forza game not including Horizon has scored at least a 90 or higher so I don't see why that would change with Forza 5. Ryse I could easily see bombing in reviews and DeadRising 3 has the look of a 70-80 game,

lol ok. But I do feel there is merit to that argument that PS4 publicity rided on the misgivings of Xbox. At least now we can judge each console on their own merits/games.

An absolutely quintessential launch lineup is in store for the Xbox One.

Based on tradition, Forza 5 should get the 90 meta. But having less cars may hurt its chances. Well see.

What about the fact it doesn't really push the genre forward much compared to last gen games, if at all? I mean, it's only fair that every game gets knocked a few points for that, right?

People said that about Forza 4 and that did more then ok. But I won't begin to tell you what Forza 5 does over Forza 4, thats up to google and your willingless to know.

Forza is a critics darling but I wouldn't be surprised if its Meta will be closer to 80-85 than 90, I have a feeling that critics are very harsh towards the launch games of the new generation.

Listen, don't want to make a big thing, but many people like PS4 not only for what it offers, but because it is socially unacceptable to praise Xbox 1 at the moment.

So instead of the vibe where PS4 is great "because Xbox 1 fails" its now going to be "PS4 is ______ based on its launch lineup reception".

Not complicated, and I am not taking a dig at PS4. You can put away the claws ;)
