Huh. This makes me think of Fire Emblem: Awakening's ending, with the Avatar confronting Grima, who had killed Validar in his timeline, and intends to kill the Avatar, until Basillo saves the Avatar. Yet Basillo was presumed dead.

I have yet to play Fire Emblem Awakening, that's for spoil protecting that one.

Huh. That makes me think of Star Fox 64's ending, with Fox McCloud confronting a giant, evil space monkey face, who had killed his father James, and intends to kill Fox and rule the galaxy, until Fox kills him and James' ghost appears to guide Fox out of the exploding building and  saves him.

You got it, it's Starfox 64.

Although the franchise still lives on, this game was the conclusion of the spirit and direction that the franchise ran with for more than a decade. Also contains one of my Waifus. *swoon*

You know, I own every main series Dragon Quest, but have yet to beat one of them? When I get a 3DS XL I'm going to bring up a lot of DS games high high on my list. Kinda ignored the system since the 3D XL released, and moved over to PSP.

Played it last year, really enjoyed it (It was... Super! )! It's pretty funny, as I've come to really enjoy (and appreciate) all three styles of this franchise, although the style in which game #47 follows is my favorite.

What's also sort of funny is that I actually ended up preferring your #47 to the game I tried to goad you into playing. But I still haven't been able to track down any of the other games in the series that follow the same style, so I don't really feel like I can say which direction I prefer.

(I feel like we're cockteasing poor Anfebious with this conversation.)
