This game has characters with the name of different vehicle parts, now that I think about them... they also look a bit like vehicles.

The only game that comes to mind for me is Advance Wars, but I know that's wrong. Wasn't there a game for Geneis where people were named after vehicle parts? I want to say Gunstar Heroes, but I don't think that's it either.....

I can visualize what I think the answer is, but I can't put a name to the game.

None of them. What if I tell you that one of the characters in the game looks like a leprechaun.

Star Fox for the 3DS maybe?

You are exactly one logical leap from the correct answer. Let me "steer" you in the right direction: when I say "luckiest entry", I'm referring to the game's title.

Mario Kart 7.

#49: Despite the hero's last name, there is no American Football in the game, though some makes an appearance in the sequel.

No More Heroes (Travis Touchdown is the hero)

Edit: I got super ninja-ed, I didn't realize your post was an hour old.

50. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance(GBA)
I chose this title because of all the fun I had with it the other summer. It was a blast and the open quest system was rather nice. The game had a great battle system. The job system is great in that you can memorize all the moves so you don't force a character to be a certain type. The other characters felt fairly entertaining albeit a tad childish. Another thing that I enjoyed was the fact that in the end, you aren't really the hero. You are essentially the dick who wants to end everyone else's happiness for your own desires.

Hint for #49:This game is supposed to be a spirit successor to a well-known series that has entries on the Saturn, GBA and an HD remake on the 360

I can say with 100% certainty that you're referencing Guardian Heroes.

But I no not of a spiritual succesor developed by Treasure. Yet... Code of Princess has been described as such.

I know which game is too

My first thought is that it could be a port of a certain bally/midway arcade game with a similar name, but that one has cactuses and bullets don't bounce in them, so I had to do some searching.

Heh. Veknoid PM'ed me with the answer. He was correct. If you've guessed it as well, I'm impressed at both of you. I didn't think it would be so easy to track down such an old game using vague clues. Even when researching .

At least your taste in games is good. I see you're playing all 3 Project Rainfall games at once.

I am! It cost me a lot to get them but I am really enjoying them! I am currently playing Xenoblade more than the others. It's excellent *_*.

Yea, I pre-ordered my copy, so I got lucky. Plus used copies in Canada, while super rare, are only $45, so I even snagged a few extra. XenoBlade is the lonest of the 3, so it makes sense that it takes up the most of your time.

Of the three Project Rainfall games, Xenoblade is the only one on my list.

And it's near the top.

I'll keep that in mind with future clues.

I think both Last Story and XenoBlade made my list, but they aren't at the top. The SNES/PS1 era is just too holy of a grail. I haven't beaten Pandora's Tower, but the fact that I was able to put it down......it's never going to make my top 50, heck Shadow of the Colossus just didn't make my top 50, and I often hear comparisions between the two, with SotC being the better game.

It's not a Team Ico game.

Won't help me, but I have an idea of the game. It is a Sega platform game (maybe not Genesis, but a Sega console) right?

My clue for 49:

49 is quite an old game so I doubt anyone will have heard of it but it was one of the first open world games that I can think of and not part of any of the major console franchises. Therefore I'm going to split the name into 2 words:

Word 1: You may look upon me but I died long ago.

Word 2: Name of the first completely 3D ID franchise.

___ Quake. Hmm.

I shall meditate on this.
