99% of the time you should pay no attention to them. At most they should make it a +/- system and then get a percentage based on that...

I actually liked the SP for this game..it was 10 + and even though it did seem like a rehash of all the other COD games...it was still a pretty impressive game. I haven't tried co-op or MP yet so I can't judge.
But...
ALL Metacritic scores are BS.

CoD Ghosts is the first entry in the franchise I uninstalled right after beating the campaign on Veteran as the MP is a mess. So i can see where that guy is coming from :^)

Metacritic can be off a few points. But for the most part, it can push gamers towards good games.

Can is the keyword. Metacritic pushed JRPG fans away from Nier as critics are filthy casuals.

When critics like IGN give the worst CoD a score as high as 8.8 I have every right to be bitter :^)

Well it does give you different perspective on a review, reading the user review. As a general rule don't bother reading any review that give perfect 10 or that score any decent gave under a score of 6/10. I like to read the bad reviews to see why people din't like the game and high reviews for what people liked about it. the score is meaningless in these review. Instead of out of the out of 10 scoring system, it should be Love It, Like It, Ok, Meh, Hate It, Worst game ever.
