Oh I see. That's an interesting theory. But did Rare push its employees too hard, or did Nintendo do the pushing? I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that.
Yeah, I know about the whole Dinosaur Planet thing. It would have been nice to see Rare's original vision realized, but I thought Star Fox Adventures was a fine game.
In the end, I strongly believe that both Rare and Nintendo benefitted greatly from the partnership, despite any fallout in 2002. I doubt we'll ever see such a successful venture between a hardware company and a second-party studio ever again.
