I wish we got those commercials here. The last one we had from Nintendo was on the Gamecube era...

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

I don't watch ads to see hot adults play games as that is not the purpose of the ads

I want to see the actual game

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

The Japanese ad is just a 'kiddie' as the American ad. I think you must be seeing it through sexualized lens if you can't see just how 'kiddie' it actually is. It's just a lady talking like a child and wearing puppets....

She's not just a model, she's a celebrity. Places such as Japan and Korea rely heavily on celebrities for advertising.

Nintendo had ads like the play it loud thing and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJ0EAsc_Rjg

Just watch the gameplay footage ads

The japanese one is crap, it's not like she's trying to be sexy or anything, just looks like a random girl playing.
