I don't think I really have anything to add here, zarx said it so well and also supplied sources for his claim. The thing is, MS says this all the time but they never do anything.
I am expecting some bullshit of having to have windows 8 to even play them. It happened with vista and halo 2.
Maybe trying to focus on both PC and consoles and pushing the sales of both as much as possible is like wanting to have the cake and eat it too, but anyway thank you, MS, for the effort.

LOL, in my previous post I tried to be positive and trust MS, but considering its record... But hey, even Duke Nukem Whenever was eventually released! 
There are screw ups and then there are MEGA screw ups. Microsoft's complete and total failure with GFWL is in the second category.
You know that executives at Microsoft have to be sick to the stomach at how much power and revenue they've throw away over the years. They were in an absolutely perfect position to take over PC gaming. They had the OS monopoly, they had the marketing dollars, and yet Steam came and owned them in the face. It's not just on Steam, though, as the digital PC market was virtually gifted to them via Microsoft's neglect and the absolute abomination that was GFWL. How the HELL could a software company of Microsoft's scope produce something so completely broken, so amazingly rage-inducing? I would love to know how that happened. It wasn't just a swing-and-a-miss, it was a swing, a miss, and a torn groin muscle.
In a nutshell, Microsoft has lost all credibility in the PC gaming market. They're so far behind that it would require a virtual Apple-type lock-down for them to be more than bit players. That's the hole they dug for themselves. It's something they fucking deserve, too, as GFWL was by far the worst experience I've had with gaming in my entire life.

Bwahahahaha. That was a pretty nice list of compiled fails from microsoft to support PC but yeah I'm pretty tired of microsoft treating PC like shit. I would forgive them if they bought halo to the PC though.
