Given that I live in a coastal city, I'd probably have to find a new place.

But 216 feet is roughly 66 meters (thanks internet!), and that is a lot! Did they take into account that the melt of the artic won't raise the sea level?

probably. since most the ice is in antartica and then greenland.

the thing though is not all the ice would have to melt to get things that high. just enough to get ice in antartica to float.

its really hard to see but my house would be under water, luckily it wouldnt be to hard to move to the BC interior and already plan to at some point

I can't tell from the pictures, but would Vancouver vanish as well?

lol yes vancouver would be gone.. Richmond ofcourse would go first.   i live in the fraser valley and it would flood.   this is if all of it melted so it is quite the rise,  ofcourse certain areas of vancouver would remain above, but i dont know how populated those areas would get as they would become more and more cut off.

I am Torgo, I take care of the place while the master is away.

"Hes the clown that makes the dark side fun.. Torgo!"

If you go to National Geographic's site, you'll see it better. I'd say yes.

@Wonktonodi: Yes, you're right.

Need to buy a new house for when all the ice melts, huh.

Better start saving! You only have a minimum of 5 thousand years to save up!

Bah!

I'll just leave 1,000 € on my bank. With 5k years worth of interests... I'll be millionaire!

But by then, because of inflation, you'll still be as rich as you are now :P

Poor Rolstoppable.

Why? Austria seems to be fine.

Just making fun (Austria x Australia).

Oh! I see.

Btw, I recomend going to the National Geographic site to see the rest of the maps. You can see them with cities!

Now I`m feeling a dumb, I saw this picture really fast (below) and I thought that was Australia (the good thing is that I`m not alone, but is embarrassing in any way).
