I live in NY so i might go the ps4 all access event. I was at the sony store in the weekend and the basement section where they keep all the playstation stuff was closed off and two big security guys were there. I got to play Knack, and look at the ps4.

It is the same day as the XBOX ONE release, so every video games store is open that night.

I didn't expect demand to be so high lol. I usually wait two years after console release and go pc gaming for two years but now I regret that I didn't pre order. 

I've been trying to preorder it since last week. :'(

Although if you will go early enough and Sony keeps their promises true there should some batches in stores that were reserved not for preorders so it should be possible to get a system on Day 1 (and most probably only that day) without a preorder.

They told me otherwise, said I'd have to wait till normal opening time.  Tho they also said the policy could change a few days before release.
