We now get a full photo of that image in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag

This is not just some random character, it's Agate from Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. This could very well be the next Vita Assassin's Creed Game. Ubisoft was satisfied with its sales as it sold about 740K so far. We'll see anyways....

AC Liberations is coming to PS3.

Ubisoft was pleased with AC:L sales. That means it made them money. I have no problem believing they'll make another. Especially when they'll make a HD version on consoles after a year or two. The Vita has an excellent attach rate.

I really hope that they make another Assassin's Creed for the Vita as Liberation was a brilliant game and left me wanting more!!! Bring it on

But when and made by which studio? Iirc the team at Sofia was helping with Black Flag this year.

When all their big games come out, maybe they'll have more time. Watch Dogs, The Crew, etc have yet to release.

Yeah Ubisoft is in full swing right now. Watch Dogs, The Crew in spring, The Division late 2014 if they won't delay it. We can be 99% sure Far Cry 4 is in development. Ubi Art is making two smaller games. Next Ass Creed is probably one year into development as well. If it's not a big change, like Ass Creed 5, but more like Revelations, maybe Ubisoft Sofia would have time and manpower to develop a Vita game. But with 2 year development cycle that would be holiday 2015, Vita may be discontinued by that time for all we know. Otherwise it would require a hefty pay check from Sony imo for Ubisoft to have a Vita game in development at the moment.

After liberation being ported to consoles, I doubt it.
