78 on PS4 and 75 on Xbox360/PS3.
This means Treyarch does better Cods.

Treyarch have made better COD games than IW since 2008. Ghosts is the first IW game to challenge that trend.

Hmm, My experience was always better on the IW games....cod fans are usulually devided between those companies. I played mw2 for years, black ops for 6 months, mw3 for years black ops two for 2 months before going back to mw3............people who say all cod games are the same arent diving in. To hear someone from the treyarch camp praise an IW game kind of worries me though..........I will find out tomorrw

It's not a "Treyarch-y" COD if that's what you're worried about. If I had to pick a COD it felt the most like, it'd probably be MW2, just with a good story and less absurdness.

Ugh I am seeing this MP map and I am honestly quite impressed...

Lol, somehow the IGN review thought the bigger maps was a negative. Bigger maps + complexity = negative experience for COD fans I guess.

YES! cod is fast pace, I hate running forever to find people. but it's usually a good amount of tight maps. the gif map does look kind of interesting.....

Oh if you were reffering to the story as a large part of the rating I would have to agree with you. the IW stories were usually hard to follow and the treyarch stories were more entertaining. as far as in action explosions and crash scenes I'd have to hand that over to IW hands down.

but truthfully I skip the stories and play multiplayer. I get to see the stories when my brother gets around to playing it and I just watch him do it. That has been our system every cod.

No surprise. And Jim Sterling left, so he can do what he wants really.

I don't see it getting below 80 overall though.

Oh Cone buddy, you're becoming our very own Pachter :P

I don't play the online myself, so I can't really give a comparison there, sorry mate.

The review system is broken anyway, or our expectations at least.

10 -9 = great
8= good
7 = mediocre
6-1 = bad

This is a horrible way to review games.

People often say this, but if you sit an exam and get 50% on it, it's often just a bare pass. 75% mean you did decently, and 90% mean you did very well. It's actually not that bad a scale.

On the other hand, the system isn't broken, but it's a stupid system. Rating a game out of 10 based on how much you like it, as though it represents some sort of value rating? It's just wrong. I'd like to see them start reviewing games with two metrics - quality of creation (are there graphical defects? glitches? control problems? etc), and then recommendation (did the reviewer like it?).

I really don't understand all the hate that CoD gets. :p

I'm not a CoD player last game I bought was BO1, but I find all the hate a bit irrational.

AFter watching people play it at Walmart last night, I think that it really needs a new generation to bring some life to the franchise. It looked unimpressive and it did not seem to have much new to add to it.

From what I see on metacritic, I do not seem to be wrong.
